We need your help desperately.  We do not need 40 hours just some help at a specific event (Golf Tournament/Parent Social or Lax Festival) or in a specific club function like Team Manager.  Read the list below and click to send an email to us with your offer to help.  We are all in this together.

TEAM VOLUNTEER JOB SUMMARIES

Team Manager

Responsible for overall team communication and for identifying team representatives for various jobs listed below.  Responsible for updating team website regarding announcements, and general team information.  Requires frequent communication w/ team coaches and parents.  Computer skills and familiarity with e-mail essential. 

Field Representative(s)  (Recommend at least two parent volunteers)

If first game of the day, responsible for set-up of field (table, two chairs, horns, clock).  If the last game of the day, responsible for break-down of field and returning equipment to the game box. 

Publicity Representative (Recommend at least two parent volunteers)

On a weekly basis, responsible for tracking game highlights, writing brief summary of game highlights and submit to Newsweekly and Sun for submission into Lacrosse Round Up column.

Moorestown Lacrosse Festival Representative (Saturday, May 16

Solicit festival sponsorships from parents.  Coordinate pre-orders of festival t-shirts. .  Identify volunteers from team to help with the festival preparation and day of the event (i.e. set-up, clean-up, food and merchandise sales, runners etc.)

Golf Tournament / Parent Social Volunteer (Friday, May 8)

Registration: Assist with registering golfers as they arrive at the club from 11-1 PM (you get lunch)
                  or assist with registering members as they enter for the Social.  You may need to sell some 50/50 tickets when they enter. Time 5PM - 7:30PM 

Putting Contest: Take money as golfers enter and record their names and scores.  The Putting course will be set up for you. Determine Finalists (lowest score) and assist with the Final contest.  Time: 12:00-2:00, 2:00-4:00 and 4:00-6:00 PM .

Assist with Decorating the banquet room.  Arrange and place Centerpieces, hang decorations, etc.... Time: 4PM - 5:30 PM.

Tournament Representative (Lax Max ; 6^th and 8^th grade only)

Responsible for working with the team coaches to coordinate tournament travel and hotel arrangements, if needed.  Obtain tournament cost information (i.e. entrance fee, ref fees, etc.).  Work with coaches to complete and submit tournament entrance paperwork.

End-of-Season Celebration (Date to be determined)

Work with Team Manager and parents to coordinate end-of-season celebration for team.

Uniforms / Equipment Representative

Assist with the distribution of team uniforms. Responsible for tracking equipment issued (goalie, balls, first aide kit etc.) Work with team coaches to ensure the return of team equipment to Club Equipment Mgr at end of season.

Statistician (Recommend at least two parent volunteers)

Responsible for keeping the Record Book (team statistics) and clock for team games. (Great way to learn the game!)
